Dear Hurley Community,
It is with mixed emotions that I write to you, announcing my departure as your superintendent. The time has come for me to bid farewell to this incredible community that has become a second family to me.
From the moment I stepped into the role of superintendent, your unwavering support and warm welcome have been the cornerstones of our shared journey. The collaborative spirit, dedication, and genuine kindness that permeate the Hurley community have made my time here truly remarkable.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you – administrators, teachers, students, parents, community, and staff – for embracing my vision and working tirelessly to create a rigorous educational environment. Your commitment to excellence, creativity, and collaboration has been the driving force behind the positive changes we have achieved together.
June 30, 2024, will mark the end of my tenure as superintendent, and while it saddens me to say goodbye, I am confident that the strong foundation we have built together will continue to thrive. As I embark on a new chapter in my journey, I wish the Hurley community all the best in the future. May you continue to grow, learn, and inspire, creating a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.
I am pleased to inform you that the search for my replacement has already begun, and we are diligently working to ensure a smooth transition. We anticipate having a replacement identified and hired in March. Updates on the search process and additional information is available on our website. Your ongoing support and understanding during this transition period are greatly appreciated.
I have cherished every moment spent with you, and I carry the memories of our shared accomplishments in my heart. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful community. Please stay in touch, and remember that my door is always open.
