Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) programs are nationally recognized, innovative high school programs. Students fast forward into their future and are fully immersed in a professional culture, solving real world problems, using industry standard tools and are mentored by actual employers, all while receiving high school and college credit. CAPS is an example of how business, community and public education can partner to produce personalized learning experiences that educate the workforce of tomorrow, especially in high skill, high demand jobs.

On January 17, 2023 at 9:00 am, GOCAPS from Monett, will be at Hurley School to discuss five strands of courses they offer in their program. These strands are, STEM + Aviation, Medicine and Healthcare, Agri-Business/Food Systems, Global Business and Entrepreneurship and Teacher Education. GOCAPS, is am amazing opportunity to gain experiences through profession-based learning, responsiveness, self-discovery and exploration, professional skills development, and entrepreneurial mindset. We would like to personally invite all juniors and sophomores, along with their parents, to join us. Parents, if you are unable to join us on the 17th, GOCAPS, is having two virtual open houses via Zoom at 7:00 pm on January 27th and February 2nd.
