Biology dissected worms, mice, frogs, and sharks to finish out the year. Zoology completed their companion animal unit by dissecting turtles. Ag science one and two helped process our school chickens which were smoked and enjoyed at field day today! We have had a lot of fun closing out the year!

Field Day is tomorrow, Thursday, May 18, for grades K-6. We will be traveling to the ball fields for a 10:15 start. Please make sure students are wearing comfortable shoes for walking, running, and other activities. Flip flops and sandals are not recommended. Summer is quickly approaching and so are summer sports camps! During the month of June, we will host a sports camp for basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. Reminder: MAP Testing continues this week and High School EOC testing starts tomorrow. Hurley School will be paying for all K-12th grade students' breakfasts and lunches this week as we continue testing.
Kynzlie Wilson & Dayvin Powell represented Hurley at the State Math League competition on Saturday at Columbia College. These tigers did not bring home a ribbon but they made some memories and are ready to work hard to get back to state next year!! We are proud of their hard work and look forward to seeing them thrive in future competitions.
