Hurley R-I School District is accepting bids on the following projects. Entities may bid on a single project or multiple projects.
1). Demolition and removal of a concrete wall that is approximately 172 ft. X 18 inches X 8 inches.
2). Installing a concrete wall that is approximately 172 ft. X 18 inches X 8 inches. Material and labor must be included in the bid.
3). Installing red brick on the top and one side of a concrete wall that is approximately 164 ft. X 18 inches X 8 inches.
All bids must be emailed to jlittle@hurleytigers.org by Wednesday, March 7, 2023, at 10 am. References should be listed on the bid.

JH baseball practice today will be at the school and will finish at 5:00.
3rd-5th grade basketball plays at Exeter tonight starting at 4:30. There will be a game and a half for both girls and boys. Good luck.

Stoutland CDE Contest is tomorrow at Stoutland High School. The bus will LEAVE at 7 am. Please be at the ag building BEFORE 7 am with appropriate clothes for the weather. Students will need money to eat at the concession stand while we are there.

Parents as Teachers is hosting another group connection. For the month of March, we are collaborating with the Stone County Health Department to learn about germs. We hope to see you there!

Hurley Archery Results from Billings tourney February 25th.
Elementary team placed 2nd with a 2539 and two more archers qualified for the State tourney.
Individual Results:
Kimber Wolfe 2nd place with a 248.
Several shooters decided to shoot in the 3D tourney, most of the shooters had never even seen the targets before shooting today. With no practice the Elementary team shot a qualifying score for the state tourney placing 2nd with a 1186.
Kimber Wolfe placed 1st with a 220.
Congratulations to all archers, I am very proud of each and everyone of them.
One more tournament before State next Saturday, March 4th at Billings.

Tomorrow is Donut Friday, Hit the Hay Friday, and Member Potluck Lunch!
Donuts will be sold for $1 tomorrow morning while supplies last!
Wear your pajamas as we close out National FFA Week and Hit the Hay. A group photo will be taken of participating members during advisory.
FFA Members will bring potluck dishes to the Science room in the morning. We have a fridge if needed and plenty of outlets. Members will eat during high school lunch in the Science Room.

Tomorrow is picture day for our sports and clubs. If you are interested in purchase a picture package for your athlete, please order through Interstate. All the info you need to order is on the attached flyer. #TigerUp

Join our FFA chapter by wearing your favorite flannel and plaid attire for Flannel Wednesday. A group picture will be taken for participating members during advisory.
Our top six points chart members will leave the school at 4 AM for Jefferson City. Official dress is required. Governor Mike Parson will drive his tractor to the State Capitol Building for Drive Your Tractor to Work Day. Members will attend the celebration then move to a career exploration event at the Truman Building. We will return by 3:45.

We are kicking off FFA Week with Church Sunday at Hurley Baptist Church this morning. We hope members will join us in our celebration. Service starts at 10:30. Please wear church clothes; official dress is not required.
