Dismissal Procedures - Update

For the safety of all students, the front lobby will be closed from 3:15–3:50 p.m. during dismissal.

Walkers will be released through the front doors after buses have been dismissed. Parents walking with their children should wait outside the front entrance until students are released.

Car riders must be picked up through the car line—no students will be released from the lobby.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and organized!

Hurley Archery proudly sent seven talented archers to Myrtle Beach, SC, to compete in the prestigious Championship (World) Archery Tournament. The competition commenced on June 5th, with the archers starting on the bullseye range at 9:45 AM, followed by the 3D range at 12:15 PM. This year’s tournament hosted approximately 3,200 shooters in the Bullseye tournament and around 2,300 shooters in the 3D tournament. We are thrilled to announce that four of our archers achieved personal bests during the tournament: Dana Coin: 235 (Bullseye) Kortnie Wilson: 281 (3D) Dylan Burklen: 265 (3D) Kynzlie Wilson: 260 (3D) Remarkably, Hurley was the only Middle School team from Missouri to record a team score, finishing with a total of 1,485. The experience was not only competitive but also memorable, as the archers enjoyed the opportunity to see the ocean, with four of them experiencing it for the first time. Congratulations to all the archers for their hard work and dedication, and a heartfelt thank you to the parents and school for their continued support of the archery team. #HurleyTigerUp

Summer School Field Trip Update – Change of Location Dear Families, Due to the forecasted rain on Friday, we have made a change to our field trip plans. Instead of our original destination, we will now be going to the Monett YMCA indoor pool. The school will still cover the cost for all students—there is no additional fee. However, the YMCA requires a separate permission slip, which was sent home with your child today. Please be sure to review, sign, and return it as soon as possible so your child can participate in this fun alternative activity. Thank you for your flexibility!
